AWE: Alive We're Empowered
AWE is a fine jewelry company that honors and celebrates the triumphs of individuals. The distinctive AWE medallion, developed by Founder and Creative Director Jill Johnson, is both an expression of her personal journey as a three-time cancer survivor, as well as a universal symbol of strength, hope, and resilience. The four droplets forming the center of the medallion represent the elements of survival: blood, sweat, and tears:
"Blood to remind us we’re alive and empowered
Sweat for the determination exerted
Tears of sorrow for the dark times overcome
Tears of joy in celebration of triumph"
I joined the AWE team in October 2016 for a Fall/Winter content-production internship. Having been brought in to the start-up team prior to any major launches, my first task was to design and develop a comprehensive lookbook for the brand's inaugural campaign and collection. Beyond this initial project, my role at AWE has primarily centered on the production of images and graphics used in outreach and social media collateral.

These posts were created in efforts to align social media content with the survivor banners found on AWE's website.

I was responsible for the creation of these posts from start to finish. Working alongside AWE's brand manager, I was able to execute the thanksgiving photoshoot as well as everything that led to final production.
MOTION GRAPHICS / ANIMATIOn
Note: These works have been divided into two galleries to distinguish between animations created with other photographers' images and those that were created using content that I photographed and assembled.
