  • My name is Alex Passikoff. I am a Native New Yorker and graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans, graduating with a BA in Communications, a BA in Studio Art, and a minor in Architectural Studies.

For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to artistic pursuits and creative expression. In my junior year of high school, this disposition led me to pursue my two greatest passions − graphic design and architecture.

By the time I graduated high school, I had taught myself foundations in Adobe Suite and had started working as a freelance graphic designer.

I had also authored a book, A Façade of Buildings. It was a vehicle for my passion for creative expression, design, composition, structure, experience, communication and perception. For a closer look at this architectural and stylistic POV of the city I call home, click here.

In addition to strengthening my bond with New York City, my book and artistic interests led me to one of my greatest achievements – receiving the Dean's Honor Scholarship at Tulane in New Orleans.

I was initially enrolled in Tulane’s architecture program, but later shifted my professional trajectory, expanding my experience in art and visual communications to further develop my skills in graphic design, content production, and art direction.

Over the course of my college career and through graduation, I was afforded a wide range of opportunities to gain critical design experience beyond the classroom − most notably at the New-York Historical SocietyThe Tulane Hullabaloo, the American Museum of Natural HistoryAWE: Alive We're Empowered, and at Sunham Home Fashions, a multi-faceted role that focused on packaging production, showroom design/execution, and various media production related to bath items and brand-licensed programs – i.e., Lacoste Home, Ted Baker, and Vera Bradley.

These invaluable experiences have allowed me to collaborate with individuals, businesses, and organizations alike – all appealing to my passions and fortunately enabling my pursuits and development as an artist, designer, and all-around creative.

In 2023, I formally founded Marea Collective with a dear friend and creative partner with whom I’ve been informally collaborating with over a dozen years now.
