seeds of hope

Hosted by the Bucks County Chapter of the Board of Associates of Fox Chase Cancer Center, the first ever "Seeds of Hope" fundraiser was held in October 2017 to promote awareness and support for ovarian cancer research. Events held in 2018 & 2019 provided donations in support of research/treatments for bladder and skin cancer, respectively.

From March to September 2017, I worked closely with Denise Marshall, Co-Chair of the Seeds of Hope Committee and a member of the Bucks County Chapter's Board of Associates of Fox Chase Cancer Center, to develop and design a logo and visual identity for this event. The main focus in the creation of this fundraiser's identity was to maintain a clear and purposeful image – hence, the seed and sprouting leaf motif used in the the logo/wordmark and throughout signage, invitations, etc.

From the start, I've felt great pride in having the opportunity to donate my time and design work to such an honorable cause and institution. The first Seeds of Hope event ended up raising over $160,000 in donations; in followed by a total of $125,000 and $100,000 the following years. To be a part of something so impactful has been truly humbling and an honor.

Beyond the Seeds of Hope logo, I worked with Denise to develop all of the other elements required in organizing such an event. This included invitations, post & RSVP cards, garden signage, and more – all found below.
